 DS-95 grew up in a rural town in CT. Growing up only an hour away from NYC gave way to a music library consisting mostly of east coast hip hop, rap, and freestyle. After graduating from Naugatuck High School in 1995 he decided on Johnson & Wales college in Miami. What started as a major in culinary arts ended in a bachelor's degree in Breaks! Since then he has been a part of the Breakbeat/Electro underground scene. From the all too famous 'Edge' night club to Hawaii's 'Maze' he has been throwing down the best Breaks and always 'keepin it real' where ever he goes. His resume spans the globe and his mixes span the world of Breaks. His influences include old school artists such as Hardkiss, Rabbit In The Moon, Icey, Baby Anne, to newer artists such as Anthony Rother, Jackal & Hyde, Hydraulix, Exzakt, Systemattic/Wolfe and many others... DS-95's sets consist mostly of Electro and Experimental Breaks. Each mix telling a story, a story about life, about love, about Breakz. His dedication to the scene is only matched by his love for the music. While traveling and spinning around the globe for the past 6 years it seems his travels have once again landed him back to the beginning, the MIA.
DS-95 who is currently living in Miami is tearing up clubs and parties all around Florida while experimenting with production. DS-95 along with high school partner in crime Level M have been traveling and re-inventing the electronic music scene every where they go. Together they formed MilkMan Production and have been continuing to keep the scene alive and fresh. If you have yet to experience one of DS-95's spiritual sets you are truly missing out on a life changing experience. One true thing that can be said of DS-95 is that "His heart is in the music and the music is in his heart"...
